Observations
The kids were pretty antsy given the nice weather. The parents got a kick out of Everyone Loves Bacon. The biggest hit with the kids was the “Toast in the Toaster.” We only had a handful of kids, so I was able to lift all the kids in the air for the pop (with the parent’s permission of course).

Observations
When I read The Duckling Gets a Cookie I would plug my nose for the duckling. The kids got a kick out of it! I do recommend to read this book last if you do this action. I read it first in my first preschool storytime and the kids kept plugging their nose through the rest. I also danced around and asked the kids if they stole the cookies during the “Who Stole the Cookies” song.

The kids got a hoot out of Crankenstein Valentine and they were all soon doing Crankenstein’s noise with me. They also really enjoyed the “Valentine in a Box” rhyme and the gushy “Valentine Valentine” rhyme.
