Description: Create your own exploding treasure!
Warning: Adult Supervision Required. Please wear safety eyewear. Make sure to try this experiment in a space that allows for a mess and flying objects!

Supplies:

·        Paint

·         Film Canisters

·         Antacid Tablets

·         Paper

·         Water (not provided)

Directions:

·         Break the antacid tablet in half.

·         Place about 1 tablespoon of paint into the film canister.

·         Place the tablet in the film canister and quickly snap the cap back on the canister. Do a quick shake and place the film canister upside down (cap side down) on the paper. Run at least 6 feet away! The canister might not pop right away. Be patient.

·         Watch your art explode!

·         Repeat the steps to create your own masterpiece.

Suggestions:

·         You can also add a little bit of water to the paint in the canister. Beware that the film canister pops faster and the paint becomes runnier.

You can also reuse antacids for each pop!
